Studio Progress

Just for the record, we are now fully tangled up in cables, wires, and shiny new "do-dads". Oh the good ole days, set levels, push record and yer done. Were trying hard to understand just what the hell these electronic gizmo-thing-a-ma-jigger's will do for us.

More of this. Nice to have fans eh?

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Short Bridge New Lead":

Guys, it's time to call it quits. You're old. You're ugly. You're music is outdated and you have no fanbase.

Your band is completely awful. It is one of the worst bands I have ever heard in my life. The lyrics are incredibly juvenile and pathetic. The guitar playing is unimpressive and unoriginal.

The drumming is some of the crappiest in town.

Sorry.

Album Reviews

...and we quote:

"..........The point is that this album while more artistically interesting, and less formulaic, is not as enjoyable. There are no radio hits, there are no stuck-in-you-mind melodies. But there is a good reason why 95% of the population prefers "radio hits" over avant-garde music: because it's more fun. It's easier to digest, and creates endorphines much faster than "difficult to disassemble" music. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. People who claim that "easy listening" music is "bad" music are full of themselves. Even the cheapest pop, e.g. KeSha, who only seem to be able to sing about getting drunk, attracts listeners because there "are" people who want to get drunk. Music reflects life. When you make music that only reflects yourself and only a few others, well, maybe you want to keep that music for yourself and these few others..."

Something to think about.

Some people think that one can become a buddha through meditation. This is wrong. The potential for Buddhahood is within your own nature. If it were true that Buddhahood depended on meditation, then if you stopped meditating after you became a buddha, you would become a common person again. The objective of practice is to be in accord with the natural way, so that your true nature can manifest itself. Just practice according to the methods taught by the Buddha and do not worry about being a success.
