"..........The point is that this album while more artistically interesting, and less formulaic, is not as enjoyable. There are no radio hits, there are no stuck-in-you-mind melodies. But there is a good reason why 95% of the population prefers "radio hits" over avant-garde music: because it's more fun. It's easier to digest, and creates endorphines much faster than "difficult to disassemble" music. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. People who claim that "easy listening" music is "bad" music are full of themselves. Even the cheapest pop, e.g. KeSha, who only seem to be able to sing about getting drunk, attracts listeners because there "are" people who want to get drunk. Music reflects life. When you make music that only reflects yourself and only a few others, well, maybe you want to keep that music for yourself and these few others..."
